Welcome
to the E-Teach initiative of the Technology Integration in Education
(TIE) Grant. The goal of this initiative is to implement technology-based
projects designed to improve student learning through staff development
that focuses on the State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC)
Technlogy Applications Standards, I-V. The grant impacts K-8 teachers
and staff and offers direction and support in the curriculum integration
process.

Texas Association of School Administrators: TASA creates and supports special programs that recognize educational excellence in Texas. This site includes links to education news sites, key education sites, TASA departments and services, and other related resources.
American Association of School Administrators: AASA is an international organization for educational leaders which prepares schools and school systems for the 21st century, connects schools and communities, and enhances the effectiveness of school leaders.
Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association: TEPSA provides leadership training, networking opportunities, information and support for principals and supervisors as they strive to continually improve the education of Texas school children and the working conditions of their members.
National Association of Elementary School Principals: The mission of NAESP is to lead in the advocacy and support for elementary and middle level principals and other education leaders in their commitment to all children.
Texas Association of Secondary School Principals: TASSP's purpose is to offer Texas principals a forum to explore the best practices in school administration with the ultimate goal of helping facilitate student learning.
National Association of Secondary School Principals: Read about important issues in secondary schools. Learn how the principal is one of the most important influences in the school.
National Education Association: America's oldest and largest organization committed to advancing the cause of public education.
Texas Council of Administrators of Special Education: TCASE represents over 800 directors of special education, supervisors and other personnel that support the education of students with disabilities in Texas.
The Council of Chief State School Officers: This group focuses on efforts to allow individual states to have greater responsibility for the governance and administration of educational funds and programs, by allowing each state the authority and discretion to decide the structure for its educational system, the discretion of governing and enforcement board, and other state regulatory entities in the disbursement of federal educational funds.
Texas Association of School Boards: When you need help, call TASB. TASB has 50 years of experience with Texas schools and can provide assistance in virtually every area of public school governance and operation.

Texas Education Agency - For Administrators: TEA's main site for links of interest to Administrators.
Texas School District Locator: The TSDL allows you to drill down to a specific school district and access information about school campuses and their locations, district staff and their contracts, student performance and financial information for any ISD, and links to school websites.
Find Your School: The NCES has provided an easy-to-use resource for finding Educational Information about Students across the Nation. Use this map to locate any public elementary/secondary school, learn its address, discover how many teachers and students it has, and more.
Data Central: At Data Central, part of the TEA Public Access Initiative Division (TEA PAI), you can access two repositories of information: the Financial Data Mart and the Student Performance Data Mart. These data marts hold facts, records, and statistics about every public school district in the State of Texas.
Public Education Information Management System: PEIMS encompasses all data requested and received by TEA about public education, including student demographic and academic performance, personnel, financial, and organizational information.
TEA Division of Student Assessment: An overview on the statewide assessment program with additional links to the reading proficiency tests in English, the alternative assessment, the history of the statewide assessment program, and the law that mandates the statewide assessment program.
Texas Education Service Centers: A list of links to all of Texas's Educational Service Centers.
State Board for Educator Certification: The certification board is organized into four broad areas: educator preparation, assessment and accountability, certification, and investigations and enforcement.
Southwest Educational Development Laboratory: SEDL conducts field-based research and development, develops and offers training programs, and provides technical assistance to educators, policymakers, and community members. SEDL supports its research, development, and dissemination work through competitive grants and contracts.
STAR Center: Support for Texas Academic Renewal supports schools, school districts, and other educational organizations in the effective use of federal programs to improve academic achievement for all students, particularly those considered at risk of educational failure.
Texas School Public Relations Association: TSPRA promotes effective public relations practices and communications between Texans and their schools.
National Resource Center for Safe Schools: The National Resource Center for Safe Schools works with schools, communities, state and local education agencies, and other concerned individuals and agencies to create safe learning environments.
Center for Education Reform: A non-profit organization that is definitely an advocate for improving education. Their site includes advocacy, statistics, resources and guidance on education reform issues and action at the school, district, state and national levels.
National Staff Development Council: The National Staff Development Council believes quality professional development is an essential component of school improvement.
Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development: ASCD shares news and developments, as well as providing a forum for education issues and professionalism concerns.
ERIC Clearinghouse on Educational Management: An excellent resource for school supervisory and administrative personnel to access a vast array of professional development materials, organizations, training information, labor relations sites, school reform and safety issues, regulatory compliance, and more.
US Department of Education: The DOE offers a wealth of information on what the government is doing about education in America.

Technology Center for Administrators: Education World provides a summary of agencies that give technology grants, links to the National Standards, and links to articles pertaining to Administration.
ED Technology Federal and Non-Federal Resources: This Department of Education site provides a resource guide to federal funding for technology in education.
National Center for Technology Planning: NCTP is a clearinghouse for the exchange of many types of information related to technology planning. The NCTP was created for those who: need help, seek fresh ideas, or seek solutions to problems encountered with planning.
