Please print this e-mail for future reference

Thank you for helping to make Project E-Teach such a success. We appreciate the time and effort you have put forth in participating in the program. We have some exciting new features on our web site.

New Teacher Links

We have added many new teacher links in each of the subject areas. Take a minute and look at the wonderful teacher links we have added.

Secure Website

For your scheduling convenience Project E-Teach training calendar is on-line. Project E-Teach participants can now go on-line and view all of the training scheduled across the region. This calendar can be used to assist you in planning and scheduling the remainder of your E-Teach training sessions.

The on-line calendar may be found by visiting the Project E-Teach web site:

http://eteach.esc13.net
or
http://www.esc13.net/tie

On the left hand side of the page, you will see a box to type in a login and password. Use your Connected University login and password. Once you enter your login and password, click the submit button.

If you are unable to remember your login and password please contact Shaunda at our help desk shaunda.guthrie@esc13.txed.net and she will provide you with this information.

Once you have logged into the site, you will see a box on the left hand side of the page, which lists your choices. The choices are:

Message Board
Chat
Lesson Plans
Training Files
Training Calendar
Logout
Help on Msg Board

On-Line Training Calendar

Once you have logged into the secure area, you may click on the words "Training Calendar" This will take you to the training calendar. When you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see a place to choose a particular month.

While viewing the calendar, click on the date that you are interested in to see specific information such as time and location. Please use this information when registering for a training session. Register for training sessions by contacting Tim Brown via e-mail at tim.brown@esc13.txed.net

Participants MUST register for each training session they plan to attend!!

As you can see, the calendar is extremely full as we have over 2000 educators from 167 campuses participating in this training.

Message Boards

Message boards are designed to post questions that project staff or your peers may answer. The message boards differ from a "chat" in the fact that your question may not be answered immediately. The questions/comments will be posted and as peers and staff members answer, the answers will be posted below the question.

To post a message to the message board, choose the appropriate message board and click "view and post to discussion" If you wish to reply to someone else's message, click on the "Reply". If you wish to post a new message, click the "Post to Discussion"

Shaunda Guthrie will be viewing the Help Desk message boards during work hours to answer commonly asked questions.

Help Desk Chat

In addition to the regular Help Desk hours the Help Desk will also be on-line Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-8 pm to answer your Project E-Teach questions live via chat.
