You've worked hard on your Project E-Teach electronic portfolio, so why not show it off? Not only will you get the recognition that your work deserves, you could also win prizes! At the Project E-Teach Summer Fair on June 18th, we will award first, second, and third place prizes for each of the 4 listed categories (PK-2, 3-5, 6-8, and special areas such as (PE, music, special ed. etc.)
Criteria that the portfolios will be judged may include:
-Instructional design and content
-Ease of use and layout
-Functionality and navigation (links working correctly)
-Links to show how student projects meet the TEKS
-The level of integration of technology
-Elements of the E-Teach face-to-face training that have been applied
-Effective use of rubrics
-Variety and mastery in applications
-The use of hardware provided by the grant
The intended purpose of the portfolio that you have created over the course of Project E-Teach is that you will treat it as a work in progress and will continue to add to it as your ability to integrate technology grows. Our hope is that this will become a functional portfolio that has value for you and your students. We will be looking at how the portfolios aid your professional development and how they impact your students.
Winners will be announced at the Project E-Teach Summer Share Fair on June 18th.
