Education Place - Activity Search: Search a database of 400+ original K-8 classroom activities and lesson plans for teachers and parents. You may search for activities by both curriculum area and grade level.
Smithsonian Institute: The lesson plans in this collection emphasis inquiry-based learning with primary sources and museum collections provided by the Smithsonian. Although most lessons are for grades 3-8, many are interdisciplinary. Choose from the subject area links listed on the left-hand side of the page: Art, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts.
AskERIC Lesson Plans: The AskERIC Lesson Plan Collection contains more than 1100 unique lesson plans which have been written and submitted to AskERIC by teachers from all over the United States. (PK-12)

Special Education Lesson Plans
Primary Units: K-2 thematic planning units developed by teachers participating in a project to include students with special education needs in their classrooms. The development of these units allowed teachers to integrate their curriculum around themes and then develop adaptations and enhancements to actively involve all students.
Intermediate Units: Grades 3-5 thematic planning units developed by teachers participating in a project to include students with special education needs in their classrooms. The development of these units allowed teachers to integrate their curriculum around themes and then develop adaptations and enhancements to actively involve all students.

Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills: The TEKS that every teacher in Texas must cover are listed here.
Teacher Calendar: Listing special events plus links to resource sites pertaining to the special events/people. Good to use at the beginning of the month: for helping teachers decide what to plan this month. (Click on the "calendar" option near the top of the page to access)
Education Calendar and WWW Sites: Ties each special day to specific web site resources.
ExplorAsource: Teachers can use ExplorAsource's online database to find cross-referenced instructional resource materials and educational standards (TEKS) that meet the needs of their students. Just pick a grade and subject area and click on "Resource Search." Then pick a topic and media type ("On-Line…Internet" will produce online lesson plans) and click on "Show Resources." This will lead you to a page that lists links to resources that meet your criteria. Once you pick a resource, you will be able to find the standards (TEKS) that address the lesson/resource you picked.
