Education Place - Activity Search: Search a database of 400+ original K-8 classroom activities and lesson plans for teachers and parents. You may search for activities by both curriculum area and grade level. Smithsonian Institute: The lesson plans in this collection emphasis inquiry-based learning with primary sources and museum collections provided by the Smithsonian. Although most lessons are for grades 3-8, many are interdisciplinary. Choose from the subject area links listed on the left-hand side of the page: Art, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. AskERIC Lesson Plans: The AskERIC Lesson Plan Collection contains more than 1100 unique lesson plans which have been written and submitted to AskERIC by teachers from all over the United States. These lessons (which were submitted by teachers) cover Language Arts, History/Social Science, and Science and Math. WebQuests are designed to use learners' time well, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners' thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation. These Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Miscellaneous lesson plans were created by teachers for use in their own classrooms. Blue Web'n: Blue Web'n is a searchable database of over 1000 outstanding Internet learning sites categorized by subject area, audience, and type (lessons, activities, projects, resources, references, & tools). Blue Web'n does not attempt to catalog all educational sites, but only the most useful sites -- especially online activities targeted at learners. (K-12+) The Teachers Net:This site provides lessons on a variety of topics which are broken down into grade levels and subject areas. It also allows you to post your lesson plans so others can use what you know and have perfected. (PK-12+) LessonPlansPage:This site provides a variety of lesson plans for all subjects, including seasonal lesson plans. They also have a link on how to write plans and another link for inspirational stories from teachers. (PK-12+) acbteach: Looking for activity sheets or thematic units? This site provides a wide variety of worksheets, flashcards, themes and just fun ideas. You'll enjoy browsing this site!! (PK-6) Exploring Planets in the Classroom: A summer workshop based out of Hawaii that has been made into a webpage. There are both teacher and student activities available. (K-12) Lesson Plan Search: This site provides approximately 2500 plans ranging from cooking to drama. It also provides rubric links and thematic plans. (PK-12) The Teacher's Corner: Teacher's Corner provides lesson plans, thematic units, seasonal activities and a variety of other helpful links. Check it out to see what you can use. (K-12) Connecting Students: Themes, units and literacy are the top links in this webpage. It also has a cyberguide for Harry Potter. Kids should love that! (K-12) EdLibrary: WOW! 25,000 lesson plans!! That's quite a few. They have them broken down by grade level and subject area. Try it out, you're bound to find something.
